Stephanie started her makeup career unbeknownst to her throughout high school & in college. Once she established SNMH, her KKG sorority sisters from Ole Miss (#gorebs) all congratulated her on finally sharing her talents with the ladies of Texas - say what?! She will always say that she never knew doing makeup & hair was a job let along a career, because how can something so fun be a job?
Her journey began when fate jumped in and she realized her career in marketing simply was not cutting it. She hoped on a flight to visit her sister in New York, and it just happened. Through a stellar makeup & hair intro course and a meeting with Pat McGrath's makeup assistant as well as with Bobbi Brown's right hand lady, the decision was made to make the leap - and just do it.
Shortly thereafter, Stephanie Nelson Makeup & Hair was created.
Stephanie is experienced not only in bridal, but also commercial & editorial productions. Her clients include Ireland Baldwin, Sofia Richie, Madonna's Material Girl Collection, Macy's, Badgley Mischka, Life&Style, OK! Magazine, and Buffalo Brand just to name a few.
Five years, and over 400 brides later ... the best is yet to come!
